Correct way to understand Shinchonji and the Bible

The Word since the Beginning, Freedom, and Peace

Main reference: Jn 1:1-5 (Jn 8, Jn 17)

What is the Word since the beginning? What are freedom and peace?

Those who are held captive by evil and sin need to perceive the Word of truth to escape. Escaping from evil and sin brings freedom and peace.

(Jn 1:1-5) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.”

The Word since the beginning is God, and all things were made through this Word. There was life in the Word from the beginning and this life shined light to the people. This Word of life is the seed of God (Lk 8:11). We have to be born again through God’s Word of life (1 Pt 1:23). God’s son, Jesus, who was born with the seed of God, was also the Word since the beginning (1 Jn 1:1). Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit (Jn 3:6).  One who is from the earth goes to the earth, and one who is from heaven goes to heaven.  What we have to listen to and learn is not the knowledge of the world and its teachings, but we have to listen, see, and learn the things from heaven.  This is religion.

In the main reference verse the light (life) shines in the darkness (people without the Word), but it is written that the darkness does not understand it. People attend church diligently and they respond with “Amen” to their pastors’ sermons.  They are loyal and give many offerings. They receive titles at their church such as elder, deacons, evangelists, and more. And they believe. What do they believe? They believe their pastors’ words. Jesus testified the Word, the gospel of heaven, to the pastors and their congregation at the time of his first coming, but they did not believe him and instead claimed that Jesus was demon-possessed and a heretic. The people in darkness said this at that time. If they had believed in the words recorded in the Old Testament and realized its meaning, then they would have verified the testimony about the prophecy of the Old Testament and its fulfillment—and believed it. The people of darkness did not believe and had no interest in the Word of God.  Because they did not know, they did not believe. They only learned the words of the world, the work of the world, and the teachings of men, all of which were different from the words of Jesus.  Because it was different they could not believe it and called it a heresy.

The Lord’s messenger testifies to what he has seen and heard from God and the fulfillment of the prophecy as he had been commanded. But if the people do not believe or know the Bible or its promises, how can they believe the words of the Promised Pastor?

God is the Creator who created the heavens and the earth. He made known the history, moral teachings, prophecy, and fulfillment through His messengers who spoke on His behalf (Old and New Testament prophets).  He made them record His Word, and what they recorded were the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Therefore if one does not know the meaning of the promises then he or she cannot act according to God’s will.  The reality of today’s believers is that they do not know what is written in the Bible or what kinds of promises were made to them.  That is why they simply believe and follow their pastors’ words.

Because there is no holy Spirit in the theology seminary schools, there is no Word. Because there is no Word, they instruct only teachings of men that have nothing to do with the true will of God.   A pastor who has learned only the teachings of men will have nothing to teach his congregation but only teachings of men.  They are from the earth and learned the things of the earth.  This is not a religion.  Since they are worldly people and belong to the world, how can they know the things of heaven? They will go to the earth since they are from the earth, but they will go to heaven if they are born again with the Word from heaven according to God’s will (1 Pt 1:23).  Since they do not know the things of heaven, the things of religion, how can people in darkness (with no light) perceive when someone preaches the light of the Word of life (revelation) to them?

They called the Promised Pastor a leader of a sect because of the Word that he preaches (the words of Revelation from the New Testament) is not similar to what they teach. What they teach are the words of the world, and what Jesus gives is the Word of heaven.  How can heaven and earth be the same? Let us look at what Apostle Paul wrote. Apostle Paul was faultless in the law, a great scholar who did not lack any knowledge of God's law (Phil 3:6). Because of this, he stoned Stephen to death (Acts 7:58-59, *Acts 13:9 Paul = Saul). Let us see what Paul says after he received the light of Jesus.

(Gal 1:11-12). “11 I want you to know, brothers that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. 12I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.”

Paul considered what he previously believed (the law) and the knowledge that he had learned from man as rubbish.  He began to preach the Word of revelation that came from heaven (Phil 3:8-9).  This Word is the Word since the beginning mentioned in the main reference verses.

When a person finds something that is better than what he currently has, he tends to lose faith in what he has and pursues what is better. What is the life of faith like today in this world after Jesus’ work at the First Coming? Anyone can become a pastor and a chairman if he has money. They like the world more than God's Word, and money more than the will of God. They want to be pastors for money, lifestyle, authority, and honor. To them, honor and authority are more valuable than the Truth. Churches are becoming companies and pastors’ careers.  Congregations like to listen to their pastor’s words more than God and His word.  Churches have become organizations of the world.

There are countless churches, pastors, and congregations. However, there is not one person who is qualified to enter heaven.  They are all corrupt which is why the end of age has come.  As it is written, the Word is God (Jn 1:1). This is the God that we can “see” with our eyes.  Anyone who truly loves this great God will believe the Word, follow, and act according to His will.  This is the one who believes. In 1 John 1:1, the Word since the beginning was Jesus.  Anyone who truly loves and believes Jesus will believe his words. But why do they not believe? Why do they not understand?  If one does not believe in Jesus’ words or understand, then this is evidence that the holy Spirit is not with him. The Spirit cannot be with him because of his sin. From whom do the congregations want to learn?  They want to learn from the Bible, the words of Jesus. The people living during Jesus’ lifetime believed in the Jesus they saw before their very eyes, but Jesus ascended to heaven shortly after.  Today we believe in the Jesus living in us and we live with him (Gal 2:20). This is why Jesus died on the cross. If God and Jesus are living in me then I will know the Word, and I will act according to His will.

Revelation will fulfill and this is the will of God and Jesus. When it is fulfilled and testified, why would some not believe? It is because they are the sons of the devil (weeds). That is why one must be born again with God’s seed of Truth.

I (the writer) want to let all the churches in the world know the revelation that I have seen and heard.  This is the final work of God. There is no salvation for the one who does not know this, but to the one who knows, there is salvation.
